With a $44 million budget and a $2 million endowment, the Scioto Mile park project is a public-private partnership with a 50/50 cost share. Our fundraising strategy includes focusing on appropriations from federal, state and local governments, as well as charitable contributions from corporations, foundations and individuals.
Public sector funding will go towards the basic infrastructure of the park, while contributions like yours will help fund park amenities and features, making the Scioto Mile Downtown’s most unique, special and enjoyable park.
And, of course, we’re also interested in your other contributions, including your comments about the project, questions or thoughts about your favorite proposed feature.
