SponsorRecognition
“Thank you” is a polite acknowledgement of appreciation, and while we’re most certainly thankful for the individuals and organizations that contribute to the Scioto Mile project, we’re doing just a bit more to show our gratitude and recognize the project’s sponsors.
- Those who contribute toward a specific naming opportunity will receive recognition in the form of a corporate or individual “branding” in the section of the Park that is being sponsored. The branding will be designed into the section in a tasteful, artistic manner, and the contributor will have the right to approve the design prior to construction.
- The CDDC and the City of Columbus will issue a press release quoting Mayor Coleman complimenting the sponsor.
- All printed documents pertaining to the project will include a list of the companies who purchase a naming right.
- Sponsors of named sections will be recognized at the project groundbreaking ceremony.
- Those contributing $25,000 or more will be given a Friends of the Scioto Mile plaque on the Promenade. Names will be listed in descending order of the size of the contribution in the following categories:
| Leaders |
$5,000,000 – $10,000,000 |
| Benefactors |
$2,000,000 – $5,000,000 |
| Sponsors |
$500,000 – $1,000,000 |
| Patrons |
$100,000 – $500,000 |
| Friends |
Up to $100,000 |
- All Scioto Mile contributors will be invited to a sponsors-only dedication ceremony.
