Columbus Recreation and Parks Department presents free movies following select Rhythm on the River concerts. Featuring films that appeal to all ages, Movies on the Mile is a great way to spend summer evenings with family and friends.

These free outdoor programs throughout the summer take place at the Bicentennial Park Performing Arts Pavilion, a state-of-the-art venue with architecture that reflects the design of the Scioto Mile Fountain. Movies on the Mile are presented with support from the Gateway Film Center Community Screen.

Enjoy an evening on the Mile – grab a blanket and enjoy a picnic under the stars! Food and beverage sales begin at 6:30 p.m. Donatos will be in the park with delicious pizza — buy a slice or an entire pie, and savor those edge to edge toppings all summer long. Ice cold beer, soft drinks and water will also be available for purchase. For a special park dining experience, enjoy the performance and fabulous fountain views from the Milestone 229 covered patio (reservations recommended).
