RHYTHM ON THE RIVER

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department welcomes a variety of performing artists to Bicentennial Park for the Rhythm on the River series. Featuring everything from bluegrass to blues to ballet and more, attending a Rhythm on the River performance is a great way to spend summer evenings with family and friends. These free outdoor performances take place at the Bicentennial Park Performing Arts Pavilion, a state-of-the-art venue with architecture that reflects the design of the Scioto Mile Fountain.

Enjoy an evening on the Mile – grab a blanket and enjoy a picnic under the stars! Food and beverage sales begin at 6:30 p.m. before each Rhythm on the River performance. Donatos will be in the park with delicious pizza — buy a slice or an entire pie, and savor those edge to edge toppings all summer long. Ice cold beer, soft drinks and water will also be available for purchase. For a special park dining experience, enjoy the performance and fabulous fountain views from the Milestone 229 covered patio (reservations recommended).
