Festival Season Kicks Off Along Scioto Mile

The Columbus Arts Festival presented by Time Warner Cable is excited to make its long awaited return to Bicentennial Park and the newly renovated Scioto Mile. The popular art affair is ranked 4th on Columbus Underground’s Best Festivals and Events of 2011. Stretching along the downtown riverfront, June 1 – 3, the festival will be open from 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. on June 1st and 2nd, and 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. on the 3rd. Encompassing the Scioto Mile, Bicentennial Park, the two new bridges at Main and Rich Streets, Civic Center Drive and Washington Blvd, the downtown riverfront will be temporarily turned into an outdoor art gallery. Some of the nation’s top artists along with local artists and craftsman will be featured at the festival. Gourmet cuisine from several of Columbus’s finest restaurants will be available throughout the event along with, hands-on activities and live music.
