For those individuals and organizations that contribute to the Scioto Mile project, several steps will be undertaken to ensure appropriate recognition is received for their gifts. These include:

For those electing to purchase a specific naming opportunity, recognition will be in the form of a corporate or individual “branding” in the section of the Park that is being sponsored. The branding will be designed into the section in a tasteful, artistic manner, and the contributor will have the right to approve the design prior to construction.

For all named sections, a press release will be issued by the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation and the City of Columbus, quoting Mayor Coleman complimenting the entity for their sponsorship.

All printed documents pertaining to the project will include a list of the companies who purchase a naming right.

The sponsors of named sections will be featured at the project groundbreaking ceremony.

For individuals or corporations that contribute $25,000 or more to the project, a Friends of the Scioto Mile plaque will be placed on the Promenade recognizing their gifts. The names will be listed in descending order to the size of the contribution in the following categories:

All Scioto Mile contributors will be invited to a sponsors-only dedication ceremony.

We are also interested in your intellectual contributions to the project. Please provide us with your
