Family Fun at the Fountain – Canceled 8/3 Due to Heat Advisory

***Due to the heat advisory today (Wednesday, August 3), some activities for Family Fun at the Fountain have been canceled. Today, and every day through Labor Day, the fountain is still scheduled to be on (and a great way to cool down) during the normal hours of operation (11 am – 6 pm)***

Load up the crew and come Downtown for fun in the Fountain! Splashing in the fountain is fun as it is, but every Wednesday we’re upping the ante and adding extra activities for the kids of all ages to enjoy. Whether you’re walking through the water jets, playing games on the grass or taking a beat while enjoying the weekly kid-friendly performances, a blast will be had by all.

12 pm – 2 pm

Bicentennial Park, 233 S Civic Center Drive

*There will not be an event on June 29 due to Red White and Boom setup, or July 20 due to Jazz & Rib Fest setup.

The important stuff:
• Hungry? You can grab a kid-friendly bite from a food cart without breaking the bank. Remember, you can always pack a picnic lunch or order from Milestone 229.
• We recommend parking at the River South Garage (232 S Front Street). There are a few park-side meters, but they fill up fast. Before you head out, study up on City’s new parking kiosk system.
• Onsite restrooms are open daily from 11 am – 6 pm, changing tables are available in the women’s, men’s and family restrooms.
• Enjoy the AEP Foundation Fountain any day from 11 am – 6 pm until September 5.
