Rhythm on the River Music Festival

Columbus Recreation and Parks and CAPA usher in the summer festival season with a day of live music, food trucks and beverages along the Scioto Mile at Rhythm on the River on Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Funk, soul, blues, jazz, rock, folk and eclectic live music will be presented on the Bicentennial Park Stage at Scioto Mile. The live music begins with Columbus funk and soul band favorite, Mojoflo and ends with American blues and rock band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds.
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Mojoflo, Funk and Soul
1 – 2:30 p.m., Theo’s Loose Hinges, Rhythm and Blues
3 – 4:30 p.m., Sean Carney Band, Blues
5 – 6:30 p.m., Ruthie Foster, Blues, Soul and Gospel
7 – 8:30 p.m., The Ides of March, Funk, Rock, Jazz and Fusion
9 – 10:30 p.m., The Fabulous Thunderbirds, American Blues Rock
A variety of food trucks: Betty’s Taste of Flavor, Burrito Bus, Cazuelas, Good and Tasty, Momma Can Cook, Nazca Peruvian Eats, OH! Burgers, Philly Buster, The Pit BBQ Grille, Tupelo Donuts and Wrapworthy, as well as beverages from Pepsi, Brew Dog and Miller Light will be sold throughout the day.
Rhythm on the River is the first of four, free, Columbus Recreation and Parks’ summer events. Others include: Jazz & Rib Fest, July 19-22; African American Heritage Festival, Aug. 23 and 24 and An Evening of Dance with BalletMet, Aug. 31.
