WinterFest 2018

Join us for the second annual WinterFest, a celebration of giving featuring local and national musical acts, seasonal ales from hometown breweries and favorite dishes from Columbus food trucks. A portion of food truck and beer sales will be donated to the Mid-Ohio FoodbankCD102.5, The Alternative Station, and CW Columbus are the promotional partners for WinterFest.

Bicentennial Stage Schedule:
11 a.m.Theo’s Loose Hinges
11:45 a.m. – Mistar Anderson
12:30 p.m. – Theo’s Loose Hinges
1:15 p.m. – Mistar Anderson
2:30 p.m. – Nationally recognized Nashville artist Rayland Baxter

CRPD staff and volunteers will be on hand selling hand-crafted bowls as part of the Empty Bowls initiative which supports the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Now in its 21st year, Empty Bowls has raised more than $250,000 to fight hunger in our community.

Artwork makes for a great holiday gift! Don’t miss the central Ohio artists from the Columbus Arts Festival’s Emerging Artists program that will be exhibiting their works in Bicentennial Park for all to enjoy. This part of WinterFest is supported by the Greater Columbus Arts Council, which produces the Columbus Arts Festival.

In addition to WinterFest, the Scioto Mile will be aglow with thousands of twinkling lights beginning Nov. 21 adding an air of festivity to downtown Columbus.

WinterFest is presented by the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department and made possible through the generous support of CD102.5, The Alternative Station, CW Columbus and Mike Gallicchio.
