Jazz & Rib Fest will have multiple roads closed around The Scioto Mile starting 6 AM Monday, July 20 until 6 AM Tuesday, July 28.

The fountain and Amara will be open normal operating hours during the festival.

Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center

The Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center, under the Columbus Recreation and Parks umbrella, is a hub of artistic activity and inspiration in Columbus! Offering adult art classes, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, tours, and special events, the center highlights local, regional and national artists and connects our community through the power of creativity.

Galleries

The center is home to two galleries showing some of the most impressive work Ohio artists have to offer. The Main Gallery features collections of work following specific themes or in specific artistic media, usually by a variety of artists from across the state.

The Store

The Art Store at the Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center is a on-site store that sells handmade artwork by the center’s students and instructors.

Classes and Workshops

With a long line-up of painting, jewelry, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, pottery classes, and beyond, the Tyson Cultural Arts Center offers a vast array of options for both beginning and experienced artists.
